A Note from ElevateNext co-founders, Nicole Auerbach & Patrick Lamb

A little over 10 years ago we launched Valorem Law Group to address a void in the marketplace – creating a law firm that could handle commercial litigation using alternative fee arrangements while maintaining an unwavering focus on client service. With that same entrepreneurial spirit and excitement (albeit with a few more gray hairs), we are thrilled to announce that we have formed a new law firm, ElevateNext, to serve the needs of law department customers in a way that the market does not currently offer.  ElevateNext will work alongside the globally recognized law company, Elevate, to help customers significantly reduce legal spend. ElevateNext will provide all “attorney-required” work for clients using the Valorem model, while all “attorney-not-required” work will be provided by Elevate.

Through this collaboration, ElevateNext will be able to utilize Elevate’s technology, consultants and engineers, as well as provide customers access to Elevate’s Cael Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) software to manage matters, litigation, AFAs, contract review and much more.  Elevate, in turn will be able to use ElevateNext lawyers for sophisticated litigation and transactional representation across the country, handled in a way consistent with the Valorem model that we created.  In the end, we will provide a seamless “one stop shop” for our clients and Elevate’s customers, handling all aspects of legal services from inception, to the courtroom, the boardroom, and all stops in between. One example of how customers are using ElevateNext is our collaboration with Univar, a global chemical distribution company.

We have been so fortunate to have loyal clients, team members and firm supporters throughout our Valorem journey.  While Valorem Law Group will still exist, the work handled out of that firm will now focus on non-corporate client work, while our current and future corporate clients will be serviced through ElevateNext. We are thrilled to be able to work alongside the amazing team that Liam Brown, Founder and Executive Chairman of Elevate, has developed across the globe.  We know that this is a collaboration that will last well into the future.

We have always prided ourselves on being (r)evolutionary (if not rebellious) and constantly re-imagining the delivery of legal services.  ElevateNext is simply the Valorem of the future.
