I joined ElevateNext because the founders and attorneys spoke my language; that is, I found the vision, the goal, and the approach to be exactly what I was looking for – the efficient practice of law.  I came from a traditional law firm where the billable hour was the long and short of my practice. However, at ElevateNext, the intersection of law, technology, and cost management approach to the practice of law presents a unique opportunity to represent clients at all levels, and in all manner of issues more efficiently and cost-effectively than traditional law.  It is revolutionary in every sense of the word and I am excited to be a part of it from the ground up.

Starting over in a completely new environment is not new to me. My family and I moved to the United States from Nigeria in 2004 and like many immigrants, started from scratch. Of course, my parents bore much of the brunt of that, but I think they can safely say it’s paid off. Growing up in Nigeria, I developed a love for reading. It was the only other thing to do when the electricity went out, which was often. I also loved story-telling – another way we passed the time. Fortunately, the practice of law has afforded me an opportunity to do the two things I love most. I have enjoyed telling my clients’ stories for the past eight years and I look forward to doing it for the next eight years and the next eight after that.

I have represented clients in a myriad of practice areas, including commercial litigation, employment litigation, shareholder litigation, consumer protection actions, corporate transactions, real estate transactions, foreclosures, evictions, bankruptcy actions, premises liability, property damage, and personal injury actions. And I am looking forward to expanding my horizons here at ElevateNext.

What the team says about Kehinde:

Some people are wise beyond their years, and Kehinde is one of them. Perhaps it is because of the skills she built up when having to navigate a new country when she moved to the U.S., or perhaps it is just that she is a quick learner. Whatever the reason, we are so thrilled to have her as part of our team. We know that her experience will add great value and that she will continue to develop into a wonderful lawyer with us.
